BMW R 1250 GS / GSA / RT / R / RS 20,000 km Service Kit – Oil + Filters + Spark Plugs

The BMW R 1250 20,000 km service kit combines the main consumables required for scheduled maintenance of compatible BMW boxer motorcycles, including engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs and a sealing component.

It is specifically intended for compatible BMW R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure, R 1250 RT, R 1250 R and R 1250 RS motorcycles, providing the main replacement components for a 20,000 km engine service in one convenient package.

For the lubrication system, the kit includes 4 x 1-litre bottles of BMW ADVANTEC Ultimate 5W-40 engine oil, part number 83122405887, providing a total of 4 litres of engine oil.

The set also includes BMW oil filter 11425B77D91, which helps capture particles and contaminants circulating through the engine lubrication system. Replacing the filter together with the engine oil helps maintain clean lubrication throughout the engine.

BMW sealing component 07119963340 is also included for the applicable engine maintenance procedure.

For ignition system maintenance, the kit contains 2 BMW spark plugs, part number 12128560811, providing the two plugs required for the cylinders of the compatible R 1250 boxer engine.

The intake system is serviced with the Genuine BMW air filter 13727726799, designed to reduce the amount of dust and other particles entering the engine while maintaining correct airflow.

Regular replacement of engine oil, filters and spark plugs is an important part of maintaining engine performance and reliability. These consumable components are exposed to wear, contamination and repeated heat cycles during normal motorcycle operation.

The 20,000 km service is also an appropriate opportunity to inspect other motorcycle systems. Depending on model, age and maintenance history, additional checks may include valve clearance, timing system components, cooling system, brake fluid, shaft drive/final drive, brakes, battery and tyres.

After servicing, the engine oil level should be checked according to the correct BMW procedure, and the oil filter, drain plug and other serviced areas should be inspected for leaks.
